Job Responsibilities
* Cleaning bakery production areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
* Sweeping, mopping, and sanitising floors and preparation areas regularly.
* Washing trays, utensils, and bakery tools to maintain cleanliness standards.
* Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are consistently met and adhered to.
* Disposing of waste responsibly and maintaining tidy storage areas.
* Following cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures diligently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within a food production environment.
* Good attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks to high standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy bakery setting.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Living locally to Inverness; driving licence is desirable but not essential as the location is accessible by public transport.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food hygiene is advantageous.
What We Offer
* Full-time weekday hours, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. 9.30 start Fridays.
* Initial temporary contract with the potential for a permanent position.
