We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who wants to make a real difference to pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs.

The Darchei Noam Centre caters for up to 50 pupils with a broad range of SEND within a thriving mainstream school environment. Our aim is to provide a calm, structured, and supportive setting where children feel secure, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential. With onsite Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy, we deliver a truly holistic approach.
Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans as an Occupational Therapist
*
Support pupils in achieving goals set in EHCPs
*
Deliver therapy focused on sensory needs, emotional regulation, and social communication
*
Coach pupils in life and learning skills (organisation, writing, money handling)
*
Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, reports, and EHCP reviews
*
Provide staff guidance on therapeutic strategies

Requirements

Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
*
Registration with the HCPC
*
Paediatric OT and/or sensory integration experience desirable
Hours

Term time only

Full-time hours: Mon–Thu 8:45am–4:00pm, Fri 8:45am–12:30pm
*
Part-time considered
