About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a school in Bradford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre:set work. Responsibilities:
* Supervise whole classes during the absence of the assigned teacher.
* Deliver pre:prepared lessons and ensure students are on task.
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Respond to student questions and provide guidance where necessary.
* Report back to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues.
* Capable of making the classroom a place where students feel comfortable to learn
* Support the schools behavioural policies and procedures.
* Uphold the schools values and ethos.
* Assist with any administrative tasks related to the lesson.
* Promote a love of learning and encourage student engagement.
