Trainee Project Planner
Locations: Bristol and Glasgow
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have active SC Clearance or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.
The Experis Academy offers an exciting opportunity for delivery-oriented individuals to be trained and upskilled as Project Planners in the clean energy, defence, and civil decommissioning sectors. This role provides training and development while representing Experis on leading engineering accounts. Our programmes aim to develop talent pools to become permanent members of our industry-leading clients.
We seek ambitious candidates with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. If you're looking to reskill or develop your project planning skills, this could be the right opportunity. The role involves working within a delivery environment, supporting project planning activities, and collaborating to solve complex problems in nuclear and infrastructure projects.
As part of the programme, you'll receive training in project, programme, and portfolio management (P3M), including tools like Primavera and Excel, as well as soft skills such as negotiation, presentation, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution through scenario-based workshops.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Implementing and maintaining project structures
* Developing and maintaining the project schedule
* Aligning scheduling tools with financial and material demand systems
* Providing regular schedule updates and impact metrics
* Creating resource/cost-loaded schedules for financial and project status reporting
