Job Description
The key ingredient at the heart of our business is our people. We are looking for an experienced Executive Head Chef with a background in exceptional food catering services to join us and lead one of our largest operations. Your focus will be to work closely with your team to develop strong relationships and deliver outstanding customer service. You should possess excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills, along with a passion for food and service, and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
* Management experience in a high-volume catering environment, assisting the General Manager with food-related matters
* Proven, hands-on leadership skills with a focus on team development
* Outgoing, vibrant personality with a passion for food and customer service
* Strong Health & Safety knowledge
* Financial acumen with understanding of GP calculation and IT literacy
* Innovative, creative, and driven by excellence
* Up-to-date with current food trends
* Relevant culinary qualification (diploma or degree in Culinary Arts)
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior chef role within a high-volume catering setting
* Exceptional culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines
* Menu planning and development expertise, capable of creating seasonal and innovative dishes
* Experience in managing food costs, inventory, and budgets
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Relevant food safety certifications and understanding of food hygiene regulations
* Experience in managing and motivating large kitchen teams
Additional Information
* Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 per annum
* Working 5 days over 7
* 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
