Job Description:
HRLife is looking for an HR Operations Manager for an initial 7-month FTC period to cover a leave. Managing a team of operational HR experts, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with the business to drive operational excellence, participate in projects, manage a high-performing team, and support the business operationally as it grows.
You will be responsible for developing global standards, frameworks, and processes across HR operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance. You will work with HR teams worldwide to ensure adherence to governance frameworks and support escalated employee lifecycle issues.
Additionally, you will oversee operational aspects as they expand and establish in new countries and support the global HRIS implementation.
Based in Oxford three days a week and remote two days, this role is ideal for someone interested in a dynamic, multi-faceted position.
You will be involved in:
* Leading daily HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, employment changes, documentation, and offboarding
* Line managing the EMEA HR Ops team, supporting their development and workload management
* Ensuring service delivery aligns with business needs, compliance, and employee experience
* Setting and maintaining global governance frameworks, SOPs, and quality standards
* Creating global processes and templates for onboarding, documentation, and policy management
* Collaborating with regional HR teams to embed standards and ensure compliance
* Monitoring adherence to governance, escalating deviations as needed
* Facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices globally
* Leading cross-regional reviews for continuous improvement
* Overseeing setup of new operations related to HR activities
* Contributing to HRIS implementation, testing, and defining user requirements
* Supporting change management and training for system adoption
* Post-launch support, including system enhancements and process alignment
* Managing global reporting on headcount, attrition, structure, and other metrics
* Ensuring data accuracy in all systems for analytics and reporting
* Supporting the global mobility process
