Responsibilities
* To provide a comprehensive service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a diverse range of patients referred to the service.
* To supervise and support Podiatry support workers, assistants and students.
Requirements and conditions
* To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement to demonstrate the relevant permission to work in the country, which is checked in line with regulatory and safeguarding requirements including PVG checks where applicable.
* This post requires PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) an application to Disclosure Scotland will be needed and deemed satisfactory before starting in post.
* Due to changes from 1 April 2025, there may be a different level of criminal records check for this post if it is assessed as a "regulated role". If appointed, the role will be subject to PVG requirements. Details will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.
