CLASS 2 HIAB DRIVER (HIAB) MONDAY - FRIDAY: 7:00AM STARTS PAY RATE: £17.00 PER HOUR What's in it for me? As a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Site car parking Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Class 2 HIAB Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering most building materials to construction sites Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills: As a Class 2 HIAB Driver you will need to: Must be able to work as a team Have a valid grab HIAB licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Must be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant) Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial but not essential Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial but not essential Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout will be provided.
