Ribbons & Reeves are seeking a dedicated and motivated Pastoral Student Assistant to join a driven and ambitious school to play a key role in supporting the welfare, behaviour, and personal development of our students.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to young students lives by providing the care, guidance, and support they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Pastoral Student Assistant | Key responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day pastoral support for students
Ensuring their wellbeing and safeguarding needs are met
Work closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, parents, and external agencies to support positive behaviour, attendance, and engagement.
Attend to daily student problems outside of an educational background
Pastoral Student Assistant | About you:
2:1 or 1:1 in a relatable subject from a Top 20 UK University
Experience working with young people in an educational work setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential
