We also pack commercial drug products into bottles, blisters and sachets and provide specialised packaging solutions for medical kits, vials and syringes. We are currently seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Laxido Operations team in the role of Production Shift Manager. The Production Shift Manager will lead the supervisory management team within packaging operations and has responsibility for the quality, material consumption, labour cost, and output ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are achieved in all areas and applied at all times. The role is dynamic with day-to-day responsibilities within key areas including Management & Leadership, Resource Management (People), Resource Management (Technologies), Process and Performance Management, and Facility Management. To be successful in this role, you will need previous management experience gained within a packaging operation and must have excellent organisational and leadership skills. You must be a highly effective communicator, with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills. Key Requirements: Degree level qualification (or extensive significant experience in a similar role) Management experience gained within a packaging operation Previous experience within a pharmaceutical or other regulated environment Experience of performance management including use of OEE and variance reporting Experience in development of shift management teams and structures Experience in a role with exposure to the end customer and routine client interaction Refer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further information on the role and responsibilities and a full list of essential and desirable criteria.
