About the Role
As our Office Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our office running smoothly creating a welcoming, professional environment for colleagues, clients and visitors while ensuring that day‑to‑day operations are well‑organised, efficient and delivered to a high standard. This is a varied role where you’ll combine front‑of‑house responsibilities with wider administrative and facilities support, making a real impact on how the office functions.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the reception area, greeting visitors, answering calls, and ensuring a professional first impression.
2. Supporting and leading the office social committee, coordinating well‑organised internal events and activities, including those delivered independently by the office and those run in collaboration with Marketing.
3. Coordinating post handling, couriers, meeting room bookings, parking and general office logistics.
4. Providing administrative support to Service Lines and Enablement teams (including Marketing, People, and Risk).
5. Monitoring the office environment and maintaining high standards across all areas.
6. Supporting the Office Lead Partner with facilities management, liaising with landlords, suppliers and contractors.
7. Acting as the office Health & Safety representative, completing risk assessments and ensuring compliance.
8. Handling purchasing, supplier invoice approvals, and resolving day‑to‑day operational queries.
9. Supervising and supporting junior office team members, including allocating tasks and providing coaching and feedback.
This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role that sits at the heart of our office community, ideal for someone who thrives on being helpful, organised, and solution‑oriented.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
10. Strong administrative experience with excellent organisation skills.
11. Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional approach.
12. High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
13. Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and prioritising workload effectively.
14. Good working knowledge of MS Office and general IT systems.
15. Discreet and trustworthy, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
16. Awareness of Health & Safety requirements, with the ability to carry out checks and assessments.
17. Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
