Job Title: Hotel Financial Controller

Location: Leeds Area

About Us: a renowned and prestigious hotel offering exceptional services and luxurious experiences for there guests. are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Hotel Financial Controller to join the senior team and oversee the financial operations of the hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment while making a significant impact on the hotel's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities for this Hotel Financial Controller:

* Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Monitor and manage cash flow, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure financial controls are in place and operating efficiently.
* Implement and maintain hotel-specific financial processes and systems.
* Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
* Manage and oversee self-accounting functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to the highest standards.
* Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Financial Controller in the hotel industry is essential.
* In-depth knowledge of hotel financial operations, including self-accounting and budgeting.
* Strong experience with hotel management software and accounting systems.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
