Location: HM Prison Erlestoke, Erlestoke House, Erlestoke, Devizes SN10 5TU
Salary: £38,333.37 per annum, + £1,000 RRA, plus overtime payments after 6 months
Contract: Permanent, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
We are seeking an NVQ Level 3 qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Erlestoke, a category C adult male prison.

Responsibilities
The role involves contributing to the maintenance and safe operation of electrical systems within the establishment, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary Facilities Maintenance Team, to support a secure environment for prisoners and staff.
Qualifications
* Two years’ experience working as an electrician
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
* Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations
* Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
* Certificate in BS7671 2018 (18th edition)
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

Future Plans
GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will be delivered by the private sector, with transfer to a private sector provider no sooner than August 2027 after a procurement process.
