Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Christchurch
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Qualified Early Years Practitioner to provide cover in a nursery within the Christchurch area. The role will start immediately and involve helping to maintain a clean, tidy and child-friendly environment as well as supervising day-to-day activities within the nursery. The desired candidate is enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about the early years.
Nursery Assistant Contract/Position Details
1. Location – Christchurch
2. Position – Nursery Practitioner/Assistant
3. Likely Duration – Ongoing
4. Hours – – 4/5/6pm (dependant on shifts)
5. Pay £ – 14 per hour
Nursery Practitioner Experience, Training and Qualifications
6. Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential
7. You will need to have experience in a nursery setting either in a permanent or temporary role
8. Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months
9. Strong Behaviour Management skills are necessary
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must:
10. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
11. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application
12. Provide two professional child related references
