Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Location: RAF Molesworth, Huntingdon, PE28 5AG including occasional travel to RAF Alconbury and USVF West London
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00AM - 4:30PM).
Salary: £39,000 to £42,000 dependent on experience and qualifications
Within VIVO we are currently recruiting for an Electrician to undertake planned maintenance, remedial and reactive repairs on domestic, commercial, and industrial buildings on RAF Molesworth.
Working as part of an engineering team, you will be working both alone and in a team to undertake works on a mix of domestic and commercial buildings. You will be assigned tasks monthly, then you will self-schedule your work, ensuring they are completed to a high quality and within the set time scales provided.
Examples of work tasks you may be required to undertake include:
1. Replacing light switches
2. Replacing MCBs
3. Lighting tests
4. Replacing lamps and fittings
5. Assisting the wider engineering team with any ad hoc work
Any works will require being logged and any relative documents be completed with accurate detailed notes. You will also be required to do minor installation works and testing.
This role will see you carry out reactive repairs / callouts on mission critical assets in a timely manner, which will involve occasionally participating in an on-call rota to cover emergency call outs during non-core hours.

What you'll need to do this role
It is essential that you have a C&G Parts 1 and 2 Electrical Installation or equivalent and hold an 18th edition with amendment 2. This role will include travel within multiple locations so you must hold a full, clean UK driving licence. A company van will be provided for business use. You will also need previous experience of electrical maintenance and repairs in a domestic or commercial background.
It is desirable that you have a C&G 2391 in Testing and Inspection and it is desirable that you have experience of operating within either an MOD or Construction/Property Maintenance environment.
You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be eligible for this role.
