Job Title: Operations Team Leader
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the manufacture of quality products that meet production needs and customer specifications, while achieving profit and performance targets.
2. Drive continuous improvement to maximise operational effectiveness and efficiencies through the development of people, processes, and systems.
3. Reduce negative environmental impacts related to processes and procedures, such as waste reduction and recycling.
4. Oversee the performance and speed of production lines to maximise efficiency.
5. Monitor, control, and report on product quality, including products entering and leaving the area and proper labelling.
6. Manage effective shift changeovers, including paperwork and machinery.
7. Optimize resource management to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
8. Liaise with relevant departments to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
9. Develop and train operatives and Line Controllers.
10. Support planning and implementation of the daily production schedule, reporting issues promptly.
11. Participate in team meetings and facilitate good communication between management and operatives.
12. Perform any other duties as required.
What you’ll need:
* Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Awareness of the food manufacturing industry.
* Good command of the English language.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to use own initiative.
* First Aid certification or willingness to undergo training.
