We’re looking for a Communications Officer to lead on communications to our residents in accommodation.
About the Student Communications Team
The Student Communications Team, within the Student Recruitment and Marketing Department, supports all university-level communications with our students. We work across all areas and levels of the university to develop and create engaging content; curate messaging across multiple print and digital channels; and run numerous strategic multi-channel, student-facing campaigns throughout the year.
About you
We’re looking for someone with strong stakeholder management skills, with an eye for detail – somebody who wants to know and understand the student experience and support our diverse student body to stay happy and healthy whilst at university. Somebody who understands how good communication makes an impact on our students and someone who is able to work with the Accommodation Team to deliver change at a local level.
Key responsibilities
* Excellent copywriter with experience of creating engaging content tailored to the audience.
* Personal management of small‑scale projects turning an idea into reality.
* Develop and deliver communications using digital platforms, with strong technical skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
Where you will be working
Based at our modern Frenchay Campus, typically three days per week on campus with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
