We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join a highly reputable business based close to Manchester Airport. You will be responsible for managing client accounts within the Healthcare sector. Monitoring their expenditure through suppliers and ensuring delivery against performance metrics, whilst maximising business opportunities. This is not working within a recruitment agency!
This is a role where excellent relationship management skills will be needed along with the ability to identify new business opportunities. You must have strong analytical skills and be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisation.
This role would suit someone who is proactive and able to multi task within a busy environment. You must be keen to build relationships and able to manage suppliers to deliver results and proactive to deal with complaints.
The role is working 40 hours per week with the core hours being Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm. You must be a driver for this role with access to a vehicle for nationwide business travel.
The salary available is £30,000pa and a quarterly bonus of £1,000 is offered. The role is hybrid, with 1 day per week in the office and the rest of the time being worked remotely.
What will you be doing as an Account Manager?
Managing client accounts within the healthcare sector
Delivering against performance metrics
Monitoring expenditure through suppliers
Reviewing client expenditure and addressing anomalies
Agreeing action plans with the clients
Identifying new business opportunities
Answering calls and responding to emails efficiently
Attending on site review meetings with the clients
Ensuring internal systems are kept up to date to the standard required
Dealing with any issues or complaints / feedback
Building and maintaining relationships with clients
Ensuring all parties are kept up to date
Ensuring documentation is kept up to date

You must be a driver for this role with access to a vehicle for nationwide business travel.
Proven track record in recruitment, ideally within the healthcare industry
Must have worked as an account manager and be a go getter with commercial awareness
Must possess excellent relationship management skills
Able to identify business opportunities
Have strong analytical skills
Confident in delivering client presentations
You must have a keen eye for detail and excellent organisation skills
Must be proactive and able to multitask within a busy environment
Must have a good working knowledge of MS Office including PowerPoint
Ability to work well as part of a team and use own initiative
Strong interpersonal skills and confident to handle complaints
