One of Northern Ireland's leading M&E Contractors, with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their delivery team in Belfast. Known for delivering high-quality MEP services, the company operates across a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Hotel & Leisure, Residential, and Retail.
Your new role
As Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of mechanical packages on a variety of projects, primarily based in Northern Ireland. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing mechanical works from pre-construction through to handover
* Coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Monitoring project progress, budgets, and quality standards
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Attending site meetings and liaising with clients and consultants
* Supporting procurement and programme planning
* Providing technical input and resolving on-site issues
* Reporting regularly to senior management on project performance
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in mechanical contracts management or project management
* Experience working on large-scale mechanical projects
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building services
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proficient IT skills with strong reporting capabilities
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
