Job Overview
The Asset Management Business Systems Team supports all EA teams and suppliers in their use of carbon tools and ensures they become a core asset management system. The role involves supporting operational carbon tools, delivering services, managing user activities, and working with suppliers and national leads. The role will involve working with IT suppliers and others within the EA, including FCRM, Operations teams, and Defra’s Digital, Data and Technology Services.
Responsibilities
* Support EA and external users of operational carbon tools
* Manage and deliver a range of services to users of carbon tools
* Agree and maintain services with a range of user groups
* Act as a senior product user for digital improvement projects of our carbon tools and data
* Plan and manage user activities in the implementation of carbon tool changes and improvements
* Manage the resources and funding for carbon tools support and maintenance
* Work with operational carbon communities and national leads as required
Qualifications and Experience
* Significant experience and knowledge in carbon management in infrastructure assets, projects or programmes
* Experience in asset management and/or infrastructure business processes
* Experience in digital tool development or user implementation services
* Experience in development of training and documentation
* Knowledge and skills in stakeholder engagement and effective communications
* Ability to identify, analyse, evaluate and implement improved ways of working
* Ability to take decisions and solve complex business problems
* Strong focus on efficiency, innovation and quality
* Strong focus on customers and partners and ability to build and sustain relationships
* Ability to manage yourself and work on your own initiative
Working Conditions
