About the Role As Valet Manager, you will lead and organise the valeting team while ensuring our forecourt and preparation areas operate efficiently and professionally at all times. You will play a critical role in ensuring vehicles are prepared, positioned, and presented to the highest standard—supporting customer satisfaction and driving operational efficiency across the site. Key Responsibilities Manage, lead, and motivate the valeting team on a day-to-day basis Organise and control the flow of vehicles across the site, including workshop, preparation, and forecourt areas Oversee the preparation of used and new vehicles to a high professional standard Ensure all vehicles are valeted and presented in line with brand and company standards Coordinate vehicle movements between departments to support sales and aftersales operations Maintain a well-presented, organised, and commercially strong used car forecourt Monitor workloads and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and handover schedules Ensure safe use of equipment, chemicals, and adherence to all Health & Safety procedures Identify and report vehicle damage or preparation issues promptly Maintain accurate records and support operational reporting where required What We’re Looking For Previous experience in vehicle valeting, with supervisory or management responsibility Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Experience managing vehicle logistics or site flow is highly desirable Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years – essential) Valet Manager (Hands-On Role) Location: Cambridge Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (flexibility required) Salary: Good salary package, dependent on experience John Banks Cambridge – Valet Manager Opportunity John Banks Cambridge is looking for an experienced and motivated Valet Manager to take ownership of our valeting operations across our busy multi-franchise site. About the Role You will be responsible for leading by example—supporting, organising, and working with the valeting team day-to-day to ensure all vehicles are prepared, presented, and positioned to meet the demands of a fast-paced retail environment. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations across the site, from vehicle preparation through to customer handover.
