What You’ll Be Doing
At Spirit Cartel, we’re not your typical drinks distributor—we’re rule-breakers, taste-makers, and trendsetters in the world of premium spirits.
Now, we’re on the hunt for a driven, charismatic, and sales-savvy Account Manager to help us sell our spirits across Manchester, Leeds, and Liverpool. If you live and breathe the on-trade/off-trade drinks scene, know your way around a cocktail list, and have a passion for spirits, this could be your perfect position.
What You’ll Be Doing
You won’t just be selling—you’ll be shaping the market. Your mission? To grow our core brands (think Four Roses Bourbon, Tito’s Vodka, Worthy Park Rum, 818 Tequila, Clase Azul Tequila, and more) and secure high-profile listings. Here’s how:
* Win key accounts, securing pouring agreements, cocktail listings, and strategic distribution
* Grow Sales by hitting targets and negotiating commercial agreements with top venues
* Build Relationships with decision-makers, bartenders, and wholesalers to boost our brand presence
* Spot opportunities to expand and maximize sales in key venues and up-and-coming hotspots
* Champion our brands by delivering top-tier training, marketing activations, and brand-building strategies
* Be the eyes & ears on the ground—bringing back insights on market trends, competitors, and opportunities
* Create experiences by hosting unforgettable brand events, tastings, and customer activations
What We’re Looking For
This isn’t just a sales job—it’s a role for a passionate spirits enthusiast who thrives on making connections and closing deals. To be successful, you’ll need:
* A UK driving licence
* A deep knowledge of the spirits market in Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds
* Proven experience in sales & business development in the on-trade/off-trade industry
* An entrepreneurial mindset – always looking for new ways to grow our brands
* Confidence & communication skills to build long-term relationships with customers
* A results-driven attitude with experience in hitting sales targets
* Flexibility & a team-player approach – some evening and weekend work will be required
