Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN/SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs are required in Lancashire. Multiple positions are available, and hiring is ongoing to meet the diverse needs we support. We aim to transform the quality of education for young people with SEN (Special Education Needs)/SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
We seek SEN/SEND tutors passionate about transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. At Targeted Provision, our mission is to improve educational support for vulnerable young people in the UK. Our team supports each child holistically, and you will be guided throughout your placements by our SEN/SEND Support Specialists.
This role is ideal for qualified SEN/SEND teachers interested in 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with various learning needs, using creative, flexible, trauma-informed approaches to boost engagement and educational outcomes.

SEN/SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities:
* Planning engaging and needs-based sessions
* Delivering holistic tutoring to support educational and social-emotional progress
* Completing reports and providing feedback on progress
* Engaging with us as a Worker on short-term engagements
* Working under a contract for service and paid via PAYE
* No set work hours or expenses coverage
* Insurance coverage for your work
* This is not a self-employed position
