Milton Keynes College has a new vacancy for an administrator to join the education team based at HMP Bullingdon. The administrator will act as an ambassador, promoting education to maximise the recruitment of students onto learning programmes and supporting their learning goals within the prison. You will be responsible for administrative processes, data entry and maintenance related to the learning experience, liaising with students and supporting their journey towards gaining a range of qualifications in a flexible way.
This role would suit a highly organised professional, with an excellent eye for detail and a methodical approach to daily tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analysis on student recruitment, retention and success data as well as providing accurate end of month data and reports. You will also carry out general administrative tasks throughout the department, ensuring efficient working practices are maintained and enhanced.
As a successful administrator, you will provide appropriate support to the management team by ensuring the timely entry of key information onto a range of awarding body and College databases. You will also be confident in promoting the benefits of education and be actively involved in all aspects of student recruitment and programme marketing, working in partnership with HMPPS and other agencies to develop and deliver support services for our learners.

Bullingdon Community Prison is situated near the village of Arncott in Bicester, Oxon. HMP Bullingdon is a complex prison that has several functions. It is categorized as a local category B prison which a category C resettlement function. HMP Bullingdon has the capacity to hold 1114 offenders all serving a range of sentences from remand to life, with the average length of stay between 3 and 6 months.
The College works closely with our prison colleagues to deliver short to medium courses that help prepare learners for employment upon release. Courses include: English and Maths Functional Skills (Entry 2 to Level 2), ESOL, ICT, Barista, Hospitality, Business, Self-Employment, Personal Development, Art, Painting & Decorating, Horticulture, General Maintenance Skills, Mentoring and Barbering.
