We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Accuracy Checking Technician/Dispenser to join our friendly and professional team.
The ideal candidate would be a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.. Basic IT skills are essential. Training opportunities also available whilst in the post .
An accuracy checking qualification is essential. We will consider applications from either Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technicians or Accuracy Checking Dispensers.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
* Checking and Dispensing prescriptions
* Customer service - advising patients on the safe and effective use of their medicines, advising on minor illness symptoms and recommending products for purchase
* Assisting with pharmacy services e.g. taking blood pressure readings for patients
* Assisting with MDS service
* Stock management
* Answering queries via telephone and email
* Administrative duties e.g. claiming for services
Hours of work would ideally be Monday to Friday 11am - 5pm. This however could have a degree of flexibility - to be discussed with the pharmacy manager.
