Looking for a role where you support the Group Financial Controller with projects and backfill?
If so, we have an opportunity for a Finance Manager (12 months FTC) to join our Finance team!
The Impact you will have in this role is:
* Prepare monthly Group P&L reporting and variance analysis.
* Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for various business areas.
* Review accruals, prepayments, and provisions, maintaining a detailed audit trail for all manual entries.
* Manage risks and opportunities on the balance sheet.
* Works closely with the wider finance department to understand financial movements.
* Support Head Office functions through regular reviews of costs ensuring any queries are dealt with quickly.
* Maintain listings of key judgemental items including provisions and accruals including detailed supporting information
* Ensure agreed group policies are implemented into each subsidiary and work with each foreign entity to ensure compliance.
* Complete ad-hoc projects as an when they arise.

As our future Finance Manager, you will:
* Be able to prepare financial statements with a fair representation.
* Be able to present and explain variances to budget.
* Be adaptable; able to apply technical skills to new scenarios or problems as required.
* Manage/ develop / mentoring management accounts team in Finance Managers absence.
* Ensure that we maintain technical best practice through allocation of responsibility for specific areas to the team.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data.
* Have close attention to detail.
* Have a hands-on, with a 'can-do' attitude.
* Be an effective communicator.
