About the Role
As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon in our fantastic Sheffield Pet Hospital, you'll have the opportunity to lead the team providing exceptional care to both pets and our amazing clients. You'll be at the forefront of veterinary medicine, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, performing surgeries and supporting the team to provide the highest standards of care for our patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the team providing professional support and guidance to all levels of Vet Surgeons and Vet Nurses
2. Conduct consultations, physical examinations, and surgeries on-site at our Pet Hospital.
3. Collaborate with the team s to diagnose and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
4. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Participate in continuing education and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
The size of our teams allows for a flexible approach to weekend rotas and any out of hours required, although our normal opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.

Qualifications:
21. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school and a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
22. Proven experience in small animal medicine and surgery.
23. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for animal welfare.
24. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
25. Comfortable with technology and proficient in using telemedicine platforms for remote consultations.
