Mobile Maintenance Electrician Contract: Key Account Network Location: Dundee and surrounding areas - travel along East Coast (Fraserburgh to Fife) Hours of work: 40 Working Pattern: Mon-Fri | 8.00am–5.00pm On-Call (average 3 times a year) Regular Overtime Contract Type: Permanent We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team dedicated to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) contract. Working across multiple sites in Scotland, you’ll deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and fully functional building systems across a network of commercial properties. Job Description This is a mobile role, ideal for a qualified and experienced electrician who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work across a diverse commercial estate. You’ll carry out PPMs, fault-finding, remedial works, and testing on a range of electrical systems and associated building services - candidates must be multiskilled. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive electrical faults across multiple commercial sites. * Fault find, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, lighting, power, distribution boards, and controls. * Undertake electrical testing and inspection, including periodic condition reports. * Support system upgrades, small installation projects, and remedial works as required. * Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulations. * Accurately complete electronic job sheets, test certificates, and compliance documentation. * Work both independently and collaboratively with other engineers and subcontractors. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (essential). * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) (essential). * 2391 or 2391-52 Inspection & Testing (highly desirable). * Proven experience as a mobile electrical maintenance or building services engineer. * Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and general building services. * Experience in fault finding, testing, and compliance within multi-site or FM environments. * Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).
