Commercial Gas Engineer
£52,000 - £55,000 + Door to Door + Van + Standby
Location: Cambridge (Covering East Anglia & Home counties)
Winner Recruitment is currently working with an innovative, growing service provider specializing in hard services within the facilities management sector across commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors. They are looking to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer responsible for the maintenance and repair of gas appliances and systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment across different sectors.
Role Responsibilities
1. Install, maintain, and repair all types of gas heating and plumbing systems, particularly in the healthcare sector.
2. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas systems.
3. Diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs.
4. Assemble components as needed for various projects.
5. Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, exceeding customer expectations.
6. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently.
7. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
8. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.
9. Occasionally work away during Monday to Thursday.
Candidate Requirements
* Relevant qualifications such as COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW.
* Hold either OFTEC & LPG qualifications.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
* Experience working in occupied premises.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Customer-focused approach.
