Substantive Consultant in Neurophysiology
Apply for the Substantive Consultant in Neurophysiology role at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Applications are invited from experienced Substantive Consultants to join the Speciality Medicine Collaborative at NCIC. The Neurology service is delivered across a number of outpatient sites in North Cumbria and provides an in‑reach service to the two acute hospitals. In addition to managing general Neurology referrals, the Trust has developed several sub‑specialties and welcomes Neurophysiologists seeking full or part‑time hours.
Responsibilities
* Provide the Neurophysiological Service to the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Trust.
* Further develop the provision of Clinical Neurophysiological Services.
* Carry out teaching duties and actively participate in the Postgraduate Medical Education Programme and the training programme for Clinical Physiologists.
* Take part in the Trust’s Clinical Governance programme.
* Provide professional and clinical supervision to Clinical Neurophysiologists.
* Be involved in research where appropriate.
* Actively participate in the management of services within the Directorate.
Qualifications
* Must be on the Specialist Register to be eligible for appointment at this level of post.
* Experience as a Substantive Consultant in Neurophysiology.
Location and Working Conditions
* Outpatient and inpatient consultations across the Trust’s sites.
* Commitments will be negotiated in consultation with colleagues upon appointment.
Salary and Benefits
* Maximum amount which can be claimed for prospective employees on a substantive contract: £8,000.
* Relocation package may be available for successful candidates.
