We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team, where strong client relationships and excellent patient care come first.
A Practice Designed for Pets and People
Our purpose-built hospital-standard practice in Woking offers a modern facility with cat and dog waiting areas, dedicated cat consultation room, large private bereavement suite, spacious prep areas, two theatres, dedicated imaging and lab spaces, and comfortable wards. We provide ultrasound including VVS scans, digital and dental X-ray, multiparameters, and referral options when needed. There is a dedicated admin office and a large staff room with a kitchen.
Responsibilities
* Provide a balanced mix of consulting and surgical duties, including routine neutering, lump removals, and soft tissue surgery.
* Adapt workload to strengths and passions, whether you prefer a consult-only or surgery-focused role.
* Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver high standards of patient care and client service.
Team and Support
Our RVNs run their own clinics, handle second vaccinations, post-op checks, discharges, admits, and repeat medications. In theatre, they support vets to ensure the highest standard of care.

Work-Life Balance
This is a full-time role (four days across 40 hours) with no out-of-hours commitment. A 1:4 Saturday rota (8:30am–4:00pm) with time back in lieu. Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Occasional travel to Addlestone and Bagshot branches is part of the role.

Main site in Woking with self-contained accommodation available at our Bagshot practice for those relocating.

Requirements
Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with experience suitable for a fast-paced practice, able to work collaboratively within a team of seven Veterinary Surgeons and ten Registered Veterinary Nurses. Interest in development and ongoing learning is welcomed.
