The School and Role
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and nurturing full time Reception Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Newcastle Upon Tyne on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing hight quality teaching and learning within EYFS. You will play a key role in supporting pupils through this important transition year, helping them to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Requirements:
The successful Teacher will have:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Have experience teaching in EYFS
3. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment
4. Create an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
5. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
6. Work as part of a collaborative and caring team
7. Show enthusiasm, creativity and excellent classroom management skills
