The Job
This role is primarily responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that user access is properly managed and monitored across all systems and applications, ensuring compliance with AVEVA’s policies and standards.
This position suits individuals passionate about Identity and Access Management (IAM) who are interested in advancing their careers in Security. IAM is a rapidly growing field offering various opportunities for professional development as AVEVA’s IAM capabilities evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform regular audits and reviews of IAM policies, including user access reviews, identifying discrepancies or security risks, and implementing remediation plans.
2. Manage the identity lifecycle as part of the joiner, mover, and leaver processes.
3. Support and advise on user access provisioning and deprovisioning, ensuring timely and accurate access rights management.
4. Develop and maintain documentation related to IAM processes and procedures.
5. Support the Security team in investigating security incidents related to user access.
6. Update IAM policies, procedures, and standards as needed.
7. Assist with user training and awareness on IAM policies, standards, and security best practices.
8. Provide documentation and evidence for audits and assessments to support compliance efforts.
9. Stay informed on emerging IAM trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend continuous improvements.
10. Report on KPIs and metrics related to IAM.
Essential Requirements
1. Understanding of IAM policies, best practices, and principles.
2. Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify security risks.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
4. Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
5. Ability to produce high-quality reports and analyses.
Desired Skills
1. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, NERCIP.
2. 5+ years of experience in an IAM-focused role.
3. Experience with IAM tools like IGA and PAM solutions.
4. Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau and SQL.
5. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are a plus.
