At Crowne Plaza Newcastle, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences around the clock. As part of the IHG family, we’re a dynamic and welcoming team committed to high standards and heartfelt hospitality. We’re now looking for a dedicated Night Cleaner to join our night team and help us maintain our beautiful city-centre hotel to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilties
As a Night Cleaner, you will play an essential role in ensuring that all public areas and meeting spaces are cleaned, presented, and maintained to a high standard overnight. Duties include:
* Carrying out thorough cleaning of public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and leisure facilities
* Preparing and resetting meeting rooms and public spaces for the following day’s events
* Handling cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe and professional manner
* Supporting the wider night team in maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across the hotel
* Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards encountered during your shift
* Following all health, safety, and hygiene procedures
* Working collaboratively as part of a team led by our experienced Night Manager
What do we need from you?
* Attention to detail: it’s essential that you have a keen eye for detail to ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
* Time management skills: in this busy role, must be able to manage their time effectively to ensure that all rooms are cleaned within the allotted timeframe.
* Communication skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with other hotel staff and guests, including receiving and responding to guest requests and inquiries.
* Most importantly, to be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards
