Job Description
KPI Recruiting are on the lookout for a skilled DBS/PVG Chef to join our client's team. This role is perfect for a chef with experience who can prepare high-quality meals while adhering to safety and hygiene standards. You will work Monday to Friday, with shifts Variable from 06:00 – 18:30hrs ( 6 to 8 hour shifts), earning £16.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Kitchen Setup: Prepare the kitchen before opening, ensuring all ingredients and stations are ready.
* Meal Preparation: Cook specific portions of each plated meal while managing your kitchen station.
* Food Preparation: Assist in marinating, cutting, and precooking foods to ensure smooth operations.
* Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the kitchen at the end of the shift, sanitizing the area and tools.
* Storage: Properly wrap and store unused items.
* Plating: Creatively plate dishes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Certifications and Qualifications:
* DBS/PVG Check
* Food Hygiene Level 2
* Allergy Certificate
