Job description: Neuro Rehabilitation Support Worker/Assistant (Brain Injury)

Rate of pay per hour : £20.35 (weekdays) £22.60 (weekends and worked bank holidays)
We are a specialist Case Management Company supporting individuals with life changing injuries. We are not the employer for this post; the employer is a Deputy on behalf of the client.
Looking for Neuro Rehab Support Workers/ Neuro Rehab assistants
The client is a bright, intelligent 47-year-old man with a brain injury, living in Luton in family home.
The team is led by a Neuropsychologist, with regular training and input from Neuro Physiotherpaist, Speech and Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist.
Work includes supporting; gym visits, physio, socialising, local visits (i.e. shopping, or out for lunch), day trips to Brighton or London museums, crosswords and word games and personal care.

I used to live on a boat in Brighton, working at the hospital and training to be a nurse. I went about on a bike and kept fit playing hockey. When I was younger, I was an international sportsman. I have good friends and family. I am interested in the world and current affairs. I enjoy word play, crosswords, quizzes, comedy, films, music, recorded and live. I am looking for support workers that are fun but clever.

Shift patterns:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am to 4.30pm
Tuesday 8am to 2pm and 2pm to 8pm (split shift)
Thursdays 8am to 8pm (long day)
Saturday 8am to 4.30pm
Sunday 8am to 1pm
Evening shifts 6.30pm to 10.30pm and sleeping nights in the foreseeable future
We are open to applications from candidates who offer flexible days and evenings/nights. Cover and overtime are often available.
We are in need of cover for the following days/shifts as a priority:
Monday 8am to 4.30pm
Tuesday 8am to 2pm and 2pm to 8pm (split shift or long day 8am to 8pm)
Thursday 8am to 8pm (long day)
Other shifts may be available ad hoc and for evenings and weekends.
Salary: £20.35-£22.60 per hour
Subject to enhanced DBS check
Work authorisation United Kingdom essential
Computer literate and contactable via email essential
Driving licence required

We are looking for someone to join our careful and creative approach which ensures our client is always at the centre of all the decisions, what he does and how he does it
Experience preferred but willingness to learn and interested attitude considered
This role involves driving company vehicles. Due to insurance restrictions, applicants must meet the insurers criteria for coverage
