We are seeking a reliable and motivated Team Leader to oversee daily operations, support staff performance, and ensure high-quality service delivery. The role involves both site-based responsibilities and working out in the community, supporting staff and service users where required.
The successful candidate will lead by example, maintain operational standards, and contribute to a positive and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide guidance, support, and training to team members
* Work both on-site and out in the community to support service delivery
* Monitor performance and ensure targets and service standards are met
* Handle escalations, incidents, and customer or client concerns effectively
* Assist with staff rota planning, including weekend and on‑call coverage
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
* Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as required
* Support management with reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Person Specification
Essential Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a supervisory or Team Leader role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
* Good organisational and problem‑solving abilities
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Ability and willingness to work independently within the community
* Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and participate in on‑call duties
* Competent in basic IT systems and administrative tasks
Qualifications
* Ideally hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
Desirable
* Experience in the care sector
* Additional leadership or management training
Working Hours
* Full‑time position
* Flexible shift patterns, including weekdays and weekends
* Community‑based working as part of the role
* Participation in an on‑call rota (additional pay provided)
Pay and Benefits
* £15.25 per hour (weekday rate)
* £16.25 per hour (weekend rate)
* Additional payment for on‑call duties
