Job Description
* Develop and manage robust transportation projects within the logistics department.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the transport operations.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify project requirements and deliverables.
* Ensure regulatory compliance within transportation operations.
* Scope, plan and Implement the most effective transport and logistics transfer.
* Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
* Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure service levels are maintained.
* Foster a culture of safety and sustainability within the 3rd party transport operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transport Project Manager should have:
* A degree in Logistics, Business Management, or related field.
* Demonstratable experience of ownership of complex transport project palns
* Proven experience in managing transportation projects in an FMCG environment.
* Proven experience utilising Project management methodologies (Prince2, PMP etc.)
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* A comprehensive understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
