About the Role:
The Technical Product Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the product lifecycle, including:

Insights: customers, competitors, market, products
*
Analysis: product proposition, positioning, business case, risk, ROI
*
Direction: product and portfolio strategy, vision, roadmaps, pricing/margin
*
Delivery: requirements, prioritisation, field trials
*
Sales Support: marketing and sales alignment, launch, promotion, after-sales support
You will act as the Voice of the Customer, determining customer needs and desires, defining product specifications and requirements, and managing the product lifecycle from conception to phase-out. This role requires leadership of cross-functional teams from product conception through launch.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain in-depth knowledge of the industry through trade shows, research, competitor analysis, and market trend monitoring
*
Identify and analyse emerging product trends, disruptive technologies, and competitor strategies
*
Acquire and test competitor products
*
Develop and drive product strategy in collaboration with sales and marketing
*
Generate detailed Offering Requirement (OR) documents, assist R&D with Design Requirements and Design Specifications
*
Create and maintain product roadmaps
*
Collaborate with Project Managers for timely product development
*
Coordinate product introduction, promotion, and sales enablement strategies
*
Monitor product performance, provide data-driven recommendations, and support lifecycle management
*
Work with QA to address design issues and ensure product quality
*
Support R&D with product approval requirements
*
Maintain and update pricing
*
Analyse sales and product performance metrics
*
Engage with suppliers and explore new technologies at exhibitions
Essential Requirements:
5+ years of product management experience
Proven experience managing both hardware and software products
Understanding manufacturing
Technical background
Prior experience with Jira, UX/UI design tools (e.g., Adobe XD), and PLM software
Deep understanding of product management principles
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strategic thinker and detail-oriented
Skilled in creating reports using various software tools
Strong influencing skills across all seniority levels, both internally and externally
Proactive problem-solver and workload manager
Ability to build trust across teams and collaborate effectively
Ability to travel internationally
