Our client, a highly established organisation based in Dorking, Surrey are seeking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor into their team on a permanent basis. This role could be full time or our client appreciates the need for flexibility and has opened up this role additionally to 4 days a week. They are a family friendly organisation and operate flexible hours, for full time it's a 35 hour working week and you can start between 8am and 10am and finish between 4pm and 6pm. The role will be responsible for providing operational HR support to the above businesses - ensuring the delivery of a professional, efficient, reliable and trusted HR service to both management and employees. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Senior HR Manager to effectively manage all UK HR operations and service delivery Consistently reviewing all company policies, guidelines and processes and making suggestions to ensure that all HR materials are up to date, in line with current employment legislation and take a best practice approach. Ensuring that all key stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities and effective implementation strategies To effectively support/manage activities within the department, during all aspects of the employee life cycle Supporting management and colleagues on operational HR and employee relations matters by providing professional advice and guidance in a timely manner Support the active management of disciplinary and grievance issues across all businesses, keeping relevant parties informed and up to date Facilitate training sessions as and when required Actively manage and support HR projects as assigned by the Senior HR Manager, ensuring effective implementation and follow up action, as appropriate Develop and produce quality management information to support business activities and HR service delivery Working with the HR Assistant on the monthly creation of relevant HR metrics, KPIs and analytical data ensuring that key information is communicated to the relevant stakeholders Effectively manage the HR technology tools in line with businesses requirements Working in close collaboration with the Recruitment Senior Executive in relation to recruitment and selection processes to ensure the business attracts, recruits and retains the best talent. Supporting all activities as and when required. Support all HR process management, including performance management, pay reviews and compliance topics Consistently support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, systems and best practice with individual development and idea creation To build, manage and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships and communication within the business About you Previous experience as an experienced HR Advisor Ideally a member of the CIPD with supporting qualification or solid relevant experience Good understanding of employment law and best practice Experience of managing a variety of employee relations activities, i.e. disciplinaries and grievances Knowledge of managing the recruitment cycle and agency relations Experience of supporting business change processes and training solutions Previous experience of working with / influencing management levels on a range of HR issues and topics Salary & Benefits £38,000-£42,000 Flexible and hybrid working Perkbox - discounts and rewards programme Company matched pension scheme - up to 7% 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increases with length of service) Enjoy your birthday off Long service bonuses Free eye tests If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
