Engineering Supervisor
Location: London
Type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:30
SRG are currently recruiting an Engineering Manager for a successful and growing client based in London. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a senior engineer or supervisor looking to step into a role with real influence over plant reliability, safety performance and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and technicians
* Plan and prioritise maintenance activities to minimise downtime and improve asset availability
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
* Manage planned maintenance schedules, shutdowns and contractor activity
* Own and manage the permit-to-work system
* Develop, coach, and upskill engineering team members
* Lead fault finding and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent repeat failures
* Drive continuous improvement across maintenance and reliability
* Communicate performance and site issues via shift reports and handovers
* Support budget control and cost management within engineering.
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance or engineering environment
* Strong CMMS experience
* Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
