Salary: £29,093 - £33,366 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months (to be reviewed based on impact and outcomes), full-time.
Qualifications: English and Maths GCSE required.
Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Support Officer to join our Exploitation Team as the Exploitation Coordinator. This newly created role involves working alongside the wider team to gather vital information, map risks for individuals and across Walsall, and communicate with a diverse range of professionals. The role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to perform complex administrative and business support activities, including financial transactions, document formatting, scanning, uploading information, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, organising meetings, minute-taking, analysing information, and risk mapping. The role may involve handling sensitive, confidential, and occasionally distressing information.
Working Arrangements
Our work model is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days in the office (or as needed) with the option to work from home.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven excellent minute-taking skills, including taking minutes directly onto a laptop and completing workbooks during meetings.
* Ability to work within short timeframes in a fast-paced team environment.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
* Minimum education standard of GCSE in English and Maths Grade A-C (or equivalent).
* Experience working in a Children’s Services environment.
