This role focuses on Azure architecture and hybrid connectivity, supporting platforms that integrate on-premise data-centre infrastructure with Microsoft Azure. The engineer will work closely with infrastructure, network and security teams to on-board into service existing Azure services.
Key responsibilities
* Design and operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
* Support hybrid environments integrating Azure with on-premise platforms
* Implement and operate Azure ExpressRoute connectivity
* Support identity, networking and security integration with Azure
* Provide technical input into platform designs and migrations
* Troubleshoot Azure platform, networking and connectivity issues
Required experience
1. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure architecture
2. Experience implementing and supporting Azure ExpressRoute
3. Good understanding of Azure networking, identity and core services
4. Background in enterprise infrastructure (Wintel/Linux/VMware...
