Attendance Manager – Wellingborough – September start – Teaching Personnel Are you a highly organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills? Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a reputable secondary school in Wellingborough to recruit an Attendance Manager to join their dedicated pastoral team. This is a rewarding, full-time position that plays a crucial role in promoting good attendance and punctuality across the school, starting as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: Monitor daily attendance and punctuality records using the school’s management systems. Identify patterns of absence and work with students, families, and external agencies to improve attendance. Lead on attendance strategies, interventions, and reward programmes to encourage regular school attendance. Maintain accurate records and prepare attendance reports for senior leaders and external bodies. Carry out home visits where necessary and support students returning from extended absences. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience working in a school environment or in an attendance-related role (desirable but not essential). Demonstrate strong administrative, organisational, and IT skills. Be confident in communicating with students, parents, and external professionals. Show a firm but empathetic approach to supporting young people and their families. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
