About the role Working across the SkyLife Lounge and SkyCafe outlets I am responsible for the delivery of the consistent high-quality experience our passengers have grown to expect. Although my area of expertise is within the SkyLife Lounge and SkyCafe, I work with the F&B Leadership teams to develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the department. Key Responsibilities I will be responsible for driving the EBITDA of both the Lounge and the Café, I will be responsible for the development of the Duty Supervisors and Team Members in the Lounge/Café, with the goal to deliver industry leading standards I will be responsible for effective, dynamic resource management including deployment, recruitment, training, holiday planning and absence reduction. I will work with the Head of Food & Beverage and the Head of Commercial Optimisation to develop and implement improvements to the Lounge & Café’s I will fully embody the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business. I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, this will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Sounds good so far? You’re probably wondering “What skills and experience do I need for this role?” this is a key role to support with the smooth day-to-day running of the Food & Beverage Department so there are some specific skills and experience we would like the successful candidate to possess, if you can answer yes to the below requirements you have the skills it takes: I have experience successfully managing a high-volume hospitality environment I have experience managing and developing a team I hold a minimum of Food Safety Level 2 I hold current in-depth knowledge of food safety, licencing laws, allergen legislation and HACCP principles.
