As part of a national distribution group, their Chester branch has been a cornerstone of the region for many years — and they are now seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support continued growth and operational excellence.
Working as part of a multi-skilled, high-performing team, you will support all aspects of branch performance — from sales and customer service to day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager to strengthen existing relationships, drive profitability, and maintain the branch’s reputation for reliability and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the daily running of a busy and successful electrical wholesale branch
Deliver excellent customer service to trade and contractor clients across the region
Contribute to branch profitability through effective sales and operational support
Lead by example, supporting colleagues across sales, trade counter, and logistics
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Ensure stock levels, pricing, and service meet business and customer expectations
Candidate Profile:
Experience in electrical wholesale or distribution (assistant manager or senior internal sales level)
Passionate about customer service and long-term relationship building
Commercially aware, with the ability to identify and maximise sales opportunities
Team-oriented with strong leadership and communication skills
Highly organised, adaptable, and confident in a fast-paced environment
