As a Tutor you will be responsible for planning and delivering sessions to small groups and 1:1’s. Sessions aim to provide life skills, embed maths and English and support learners to achieve their educational goals. You will be responsible for tracking and monitoring progress, implementing support strategies and providing a safe and secure learning environment. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver sessions Monitor progress Provide a safe learning environment Manage the learning environment safely Pay rate: Pay: £25-£30 per hour Candidate requirements: An understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental health needs of young people Experience of supporting young people in education, care or other settings Maths and English (GCSE C or above or equivalent) Do you have QTS and at least 5 years SEN experience? (In mainstream and/or special schools) Are you considering moving out of the classroom and into private tutoring? Or are you already aware about the benefits of private tutoring and would like to increase your hours? Would you like to have the opportunity to make a real difference to children with SEN including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other additional needs?
