Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
* Perform verification and validation (V&V) activities for aero gas turbine engines.
* Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct system-level and component-level testing, including functional, performance, and environmental tests.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues during the V&V process.
* Ensure all V&V activities comply with industry standards and best practices.
* Prepare and maintain documentation for V&V activities, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
* Support the certification process for electrical units, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards.
* Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning activities.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Work Experience
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in verification and validation of aero gas turbine engines.
* Strong knowledge of gas turbine engine systems and components.
* Experience with electrical unit airworthiness certification processes and standards.
* Proficiency in using V&V tools and software.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
* Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
* Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and simulation tools.
* Knowledge of aircraft industry standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754A.
* Certification in project management or systems engineering.
