Principal Resourcing have an exciting opportunity for a confident and engaging Teacher of French to join the Language Department at one of our inclusive Secondary Schools based in Selby, North Yorkshire.
The full-time role is available with immediate start for the right applicant and will initially be on a temporary basis until the end of the Summer term. You will be responsible for delivering engaging French lessons to a diverse range of pupils across the KS3/KS4, to support the thriving language department. You must be confident adapting lessons to meets the needs of learners within your care, instilling strong behaviour management in line with school policy and working as part of the existing staff team to ensure consistent learning and support for all pupils.
The Secondary School sets high expectations for all pupils, providing a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages pride, independence and high achievement for all. You will become part of a friendly staff team, providing engaging and challenging learning activities and lesson input that promotes positive relationships, respect and collaborative working to extend learning and instil a sense of pride.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.
Skills and attributes:
1. Relevant qualifications – QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
2. Previous experience of delivering curriculum subjects up to GCSE and A-Level
