Position: Quality Inspector
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
Salary: £11.75 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday - Thursday 7:00 to 15:30, Friday 7:00 to 12:30) + overtime when available

Responsibilities:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality team, responsible for:
* Inspecting components to ensure they meet specifications outlined in technical drawings
* Ensuring that operations meet internal and customer quality standards
* Completing production Approval to Runs and conducting Quality/Process audits
* Ensuring assembly operations comply with standard work, packing, and labeling requirements
* Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the Quality Management System
* Performing gauge calibration and coordinating outsourced calibration services
* Conducting MSA studies to validate gauging processes
* Contributing to continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
* Knowledge and understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing
* Strong mathematical skills including trigonometry and measurement error analysis
* Ability to perform "first principle" inspection using various measurement equipment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to be hands-on
* Drive to develop and enhance skills and abilities
